Payment Integration Analyst (Finastra GPP expertise) – Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India

Ficus e Logic is seeking a highly experienced Payment Integration Analyst with Finastra GPP expertise for a 2-year contractual role, extendable based on performance. The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 8 years focused on core banking transformation and implementation programs. This is a hands-on role requiring an individual contributor who can independently drive solutioning, documentation, and approvals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing integrations for various payment systems including RTGS, SWIFT, Cards, and real-time payments, as well as ensuring accurate GL integration for accounting entries and financial postings. Key responsibilities also include defining REST/SOAP APIs, MQ, Kafka, and file integrations, developing source-to-target data mapping, and coordinating middleware integration layers. The role demands a strong understanding of security protocols like OAuth2 and SSL, and compliance with payment regulations. Candidates should be proficient in preparing Interface Specification Documents (ISDs), API specifications, ISO20022, and SWIFT MT/MX Schemas, along with creating end-to-end flow diagrams for various financial processes.

Key requirements include hands-on Finastra GPP implementation/integration experience within a core banking transformation program, strong functional and technical knowledge of RTGS, SWIFT, cross-border payments, and ISO 20022 messaging. Experience integrating payment platforms via REST/SOAP APIs, MQ, and file-based interfaces with JSON/XML data formats is essential. The role also requires strong stakeholder management skills, enabling effective collaboration with business teams, interface/platform teams, and Solution Architecture teams. Working knowledge of integration technologies such as REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, MQ/Kafka, and file-based interfaces is mandatory.
