Project Manager - Embedded Systems – Tokyo, Japan

Ficus e Logic on behalf of its client, is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Embedded Systems. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in software design and development, particularly with embedded C programming for automotive systems. This role requires proficiency in Autosar and Non-Autosar based software architecture, as well as application software requirements and architecture design.

Key responsibilities include hands-on SDLC experience compliant with ASpice, software-hardware integration, and debugging on real hardware. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong task management, risk management, and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis. Excellent communication and team coordination abilities are essential for interacting with both customers and internal teams. Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, MPP, DOORS, and Enterprise Architect is also required. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field is mandatory, along with JLPT N2 and above proficiency in Japanese.
