Business Head - China, Transportation Business Unit – Shanghai, China

Ficus e Logic is seeking an experienced Business Head for its client for theri Transportation Business Unit in China. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading China TBU operations, managing customer relationships, overseeing delivery governance, and engaging with the local ecosystem. This role requires a proven leader with extensive experience in automotive engineering, software, delivery, and business growth.

The primary mandate includes owning the China TBU P&L, driving customer growth, ensuring delivery performance, and managing commercial governance and operational execution. The Business Head will build senior relationships with Chinese OEMs, Tier-1s, technology partners, and local ecosystem stakeholders. Key responsibilities also involve identifying and converting opportunities in SDV, E/E architecture, cockpit, ADAS, electrification, validation, and connected vehicle domains. The role will lead local delivery governance, interface with India delivery centers for scale and quality, and support localization needs and China-specific business practices. Additionally, the Business Head will provide market intelligence and strategic recommendations for TBU growth in China.
