We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager specializing in Medical Technologies to drive revenue growth and strategic account expansion, primarily for North America-based Medical Technology customers. This role, based in Pune or Bangalore, India, will be responsible for managing a USD 10–15 million portfolio. The successful candidate will work closely with onshore sales, global delivery, and solutioning teams to deliver differentiated engineering and digital transformation outcomes.
This position requires strong domain knowledge in MedTech, extensive global customer engagement experience, and the ability to translate customer needs into scalable, high-value engineering solutions. Key responsibilities include owning and growing a significant revenue portfolio, driving organic growth through account mining and cross-selling, and supporting new business acquisition. The role also involves acting as a key sales interface for global MedTech customers, developing account growth strategies, and participating in customer reviews to ensure satisfaction.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for positioning the company's capabilities across various engineering and digital health domains, working with solution architects and delivery leaders to create compelling proposals. Internal collaboration with delivery, pre-sales, finance, and legal teams for deal shaping and execution is crucial, as is supporting commercial structuring and contract discussions. Accurate forecasting, CRM updates, and leadership reporting are also key aspects of this role.
Candidates should possess 10-15+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development, with strong exposure to Medical Devices/Medical Technologies (engineering services, ER&D, or digital services). Proven experience managing global accounts or portfolios exceeding USD 10M is required, along with experience working with North America or Europe-based customers in a global delivery model. A strong understanding of the MedTech product lifecycle, regulatory environment, and quality systems, coupled with excellent communication and negotiation skills, is essential.
